A project created for ABOUT: a box becomes a matchbox holder, with a hollow coated with sandpaper to light the flame. It’s a match is a small portable altar, transforming the act of lighting a match into a new ritual. An invitation to pause the frenetic swipe between thoughts and distractions, to find a match with oneself and illuminate intentions, desires and thoughts.
